This collection holds descriptions of natural resource data that are available for download from the Australian Natural Resources Data Library. This library was established in September 2001 by the National Land and Water Resources Audit, a program of the National Heritage Trust. The node is hosted by the Bureau of Rural Sciences (BRS), a division of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry - Australia (AFFA).

Description of the organisation/jurisdiction

The National Land and Water Resources Audit (the Audit) is a program of the Natural Heritage Trust. It was set up in 1997 to improve land, water and vegetation management by providing better information to resource managers.
