The Northern Territory Spatial Data Directory (NTSDD), is a compilation of metadata describing spatial datasets held by Northern Territory Government agencies. It has been built utilising Blue Angel Technologies' MetaStar suite of products, which include Repository, Server and Gateway, and is managed by the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Environment. Individual metadata records are maintained by the relevant custodian.

Description of the organisation/jurisdiction

The Department of Planning and Infrastructure is the lead agency responsible for ensuring the Northern Territory maximises available economies of scale in developing land and geographic information systems. The Department now comprises most of the land, water and environmental management-related functions carried out by the Northern Territory Government.
